Winning by more than two hours, Sabrina crossed the finish in an impressive time of 23:03:40 – taking fifteenth place overall.
The 100-mile ultramarathon follows the South West Coast Path National Trail from Coverack to Porthtowan in Cornwall, featuring over 4,000 miles of elevation gain. The race has a strict thirty-six hour cut off point and is only open to experienced ultrarunners.
Sabrina has clocked up an impressive number of records, including the Pennine Way in 2020 and the 325-mile Wainwrights circuit in 2021, as recounted in her book, Where There's a Hill.
Vertebrate authors Jen Benson (Smart Running) and Allie Bailey (There is No Wall) also completed the race, in 32:41:01 and 34:00:48 respectively, and Vertebrate's commissioning editor, Kirsty, finished in a time of 31:11:15.
Congratulations to everyone who took part.
