"I've got an idea for a book", how to put your book idea into action. The goal of the session is to demystify the publishing process, helping to equip potential authors with the information and tools to take their ideas forward. The session will include tips on proposal writing and open discussion of how publishers make commercial decisions about what books they want to publish.

Keri will be introducing her guidebook ‘Running Challenges’, with a focus on the importance of personalising, owning or ‘investing in’ a running challenge to create the most meaningful experience and talking about founding ‘Girls on Hills’ and the role the outdoors can play in women empowerment. 9 to 5 Hetty runs her own business centred around improving the accessibility and inclusivity of the outdoors.
When she’s not staring at spreadsheets, you can typically find Hetty faffing with climbing gear, swimming in icy rivers, running up hills or falling off her mountain bike – often with her one-year-old twins in tow! Click here for more information.
16th - 18th May 2025 | David Miller at Keswick Mountain Festival
Primarily known within the world of ultra-running photographing events such as UTMB and The Barkley Marathons, David has developed his own photo-journalistic style which has seen him win the People’s Choice Sports Photographer at The British Photography Awards in 2023.
He’s also known for taking one of the most iconic and important sporting photographs of all time featuring Jasmin Paris during the Barkley Marathons of 2024 which features in his new photo book ‘Do Not Block Gate’. Click here for more information.
